Dale Johnson, Co-founder, President

A native of Oklahoma, Dale began organ studies at the age of 12 with Donald Dumler and has been active in church music for more than 40 years. He began church organ sales and consultation in 1972 and has personally been responsible for several hundred Allen Organ installations in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Alabama, New York, Mexico and China. Under his direction, Church Organ Associates, Inc. (founded 1986) has grown to be the largest supplier of church organs in Texas.

Dale and his family live in the Lake Lewisville area.

Tom Branch, Co-founder & Service Director

Tom began his technical training in the United States Air Force and served as a land based radar specialist. Following his departure from the military, he joined the staff of a large music store in Oklahoma City and served for many years as Service Manager.

In 1986 Tom and his family moved to Dallas to establish Church Organ Associates, Inc. with business partner Dale Johnson. During his long career, Tom has earned the reputation as one of the most respected church organ technicians nationwide. He has supervised the installation of hundreds of Allen Organs, including the magnificent 5-manual Custom Allen in Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano, Texas and several notable Custom Allen Organs under the direction of the late Lawrence I. Phelps, Allen’s Director of Advanced Custom Organs.

Tom has completed all Allen Organ factory certifications and serves as Service Director for the state of Texas. Tom is married and lives in Lewisville.

Larry McCain, Sales

Larry McCain began his retail music career in 1979, at the Pied Piper, Huntington, West Virginia, before moving back to the Dallas area, where he served as Sales Consultant for Whittle Music Company, representing Allen Organs and Steinway & Sons pianos. He has worked as an institutional consultant in the piano and organ business for more than thirty-five years. In this capacity he has been responsible for sales and marketing to colleges, universities, public and private schools, and churches.

Larry received his Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Christian University, Master of Music from Midwestern University, and completed 30 hours of doctoral studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, with majors in sacred music, organ, and composition.

He has served as organist and/or choral director for churches and civic choruses in Texas, West Virginia, and Puerto Rico. He currently serves as Organist-Director of Music for Central Lutheran Church, and is on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Bach Society.

His choral and piano compositions are published by Hope Publishing, Warner Brothers (Alfred Publishing), and Myklas Music Press (Alfred Publishing).

Jeff Branch, Service, Installation, Rental Coordinator

Factory trained & certified Allen Organ Technician

Jeff Branch has grown up in the church organ business and has completed all Allen organ factory certifications. He currently travels across Texas and Oklahoma providing expert installation and service assistance. Jeff graduated from Lewisville High School and was a member of the 1993 state high school football championship team. Jeff attended the University of Oklahoma, The University of North Texas and California State University, Stanislaus.

Through the years, Jeff has supervised and participated in many installations of various sizes and complexities. Examples include: the new Allen Organ installed in Chong-yi Church, Hangzhou, the largest church in the Peoples Republic of China; Southwestern Theological Seminary, Ft Worth; Dallas Baptist University and First Baptist Church, Dallas.

Jeff and his wife make their home in Lewisville, Texas with their four young boys.
